Doctoral Researcher in Participatory Democracy with a Focus on Environmental Transition

Your role

The doctoral researcher will contribute to the Social Readiness pillar, which promotes citizen science, sustainable lifestyles, and youth engagement. The role will focus on evaluating existing environmental participatory processes and contributing to the co-development and continuity of the Klima Biergerrot, in line with the coalition agreement (2023–2028).

The selected candidate will be involved in:

• Reviewing existing environmental participatory processes
• Designing a participatory process adapted to the Luxembourg context
• Supporting implementation in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity
• Creating synergies with the other pillars of the Climate Nexus project
• Evaluating the process from a comparative perspective
