Electrical Engineer, AST, Electrical Systems (Direct Hire)

Summary You will provide ionizing-radiation analysis for avionics and support flight and development projects as the focal engineer for IR (Ionizing Radiation) effects on EEE (Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical) parts. You will design, implement, and analyze radiation tests, develop IR environments and requirements, prepare IR control plans, and work with designers to select tolerant parts. You will participate in all design reviews and verification activities. Responsibilities Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
