Job Description
The Employee Relations Coordinator is responsible for the full management of employee leave of absence and accommodation requests for the Quebec region. They maintain rigorous follow-up on files, coordinate return-to-work processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support effective communication with unionized employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Absence management: Oversee short-term absences (1 to 6 days) and extended sick leaves (7 days or more), including gradual return-to-work plans.
- Special leaves: Administer occasional leaves (unpaid, parental, bereavement, etc.).
- Accommodations: Manage various types of accommodation requests.
- Analysis and reporting: Produce and maintain reports related to leaves and accommodations to ensure effective follow-up in compliance with internal policies.
