Job Description
EMS cadets gain experience supporting EMS operations while preparing to transition into an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) role.
You'll play an essential role on the EMS team, ensuring ambulances, equipment, and stations are cleaned, stocked, and ready for immediate use and provide logistical and patient support to EMS professionals.
In this unique, hands-on, paid employment opportunity, you’ll develop foundational competencies, confidence, and insight into emergency care.

About the Program
As an EMS Cadet, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience embedded within a team of EMS professionals in Northern Alberta.
The position includes tuition reimbursement and the opportunity to transition into a full-time EMR position upon successful completion of your training and provincial registration under a signed Return of Service agreement.
