:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Scientist or Geologist to join our team! In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and nonroutine tasks in support of the professional staff within the environmental group. Work assignments may be in the office and/or at field sites. A willingness to travel is expected.
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct field investigations activities and maintains documentation in record logs.
Independently performs routine environmental media sampling including but not limited to soil, soil gas, groundwater, surface water, sediment sampling;
Drilling oversight: installation of soil borings and monitoring wells; monitoring well development; monitoring well slug testing; soil and rock borehole logging;
Excavation oversight; contractor oversight and coordination at retail and commercial bulk petroleum facilities;
