Executive Chef (Full Time)
Location: Camp Chief Hector YMCA (Exshaw, Alberta)
Salary: $56,096 – $70,120 per year. Start Date: Immediately.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, supervise, and retain staff.
- Oversee the preparation of meals in accordance with established systems and AHS Food Safe regulations.
- Plan meals, update recipes, and maintain food costs within budget.
- Ensure standardized portions are adhered to and that food waste is minimized.
- Provide for all special dietary needs.
- Maintain adequate storage of all food and supplies, and manage inventory.
- Deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
- Maintain a high level of quality, cleanliness, and safety in all food preparation.
- Ensure food safety and that all staff follows safe food handling and sanitary procedures.
