Exciting new role for an experienced Corporate Law Clerk available at an Ottawa-based law firm. This full-time, permanent position focuses on corporate legal documentation and client interactions.
Ideal candidates will possess at least three years of experience as corporate/commercial law clerks. Your expertise will be essential in managing minute books and preparing key legal documents for a range of corporate transactions. A Law Clerk diploma is required, along with solid knowledge of corporate laws and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage minute book administration and reporting
• Prepare required documents for business registrations
• Assist with asset sale and purchase transactions
• Organize and maintain client files and reminders
• Conduct searches and prepare compliance reports
Requirements:
• Over three years of relevant clerking experience
• Law Clerk diploma or equivalent qualification
• Understanding of Canada Business Corporations Act...
