Job Description
Summit Air is looking for an experienced Dash 8 Captain to lead flights in Vancouver, BC. Focus on safety and customer service while operating across Canada’s northern regions.
This role requires a qualified candidate who is passionate about aviation and customer service. As a Dash 8 Captain, you will safely operate aircraft, manage flight plans, and engage in both pre-flight and post-flight activities. Your commitment ensures our clients receive the highest levels of service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely fly Dash 8 - 300 aircraft throughout Northern Canada
• Stay current on flight information, weather, and NOTAMs
• Complete thorough pre-flight inspections and follow up post-flight
Requirements:
• 4000 total flight hours minimum
• 2500 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) experience
• Dash 8 PPC not expired for over 24 months
• BC flying experience preferred
• Strong commitment to safety culture and effective communication
