Faculty (On-Call Pool), Nautical Sciences
BCIT’s School of Transportation is seeking a temporary, full-time Faculty, Nautical Sciences who holds a TC Master 3000 GT / Master Mariner to deliver Transport Canada Accredited and non-accredited courses in our Nautical Department. The ideal candidate will bring Canadian and global marine industry experience into the classroom, workshop, or vessels; develop course and program curriculum; address operational and educational issues; and cultivate positive relationships with students.
Appointments will be of varying durations, providing temporary coverage for both pre-scheduled and unplanned absences for faculty.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Classroom instruction to certificate upgraders, entry-level or Industry Services students, and Nautical Science cadets;
