Job Summary: Couchiching First Nation is seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Advocate Worker to support families in navigating complex systems. The position is responsible for providing a wide range of child & family support, advocacy, liaison with courts and child and family agencies, and co‑development of care plans, which includes but is not limited to providing Child and Family Services and referrals to community support services. The Family Advocate provides support to families and children who are involved with or at risk of being involved with child and family services and providing support compatible with the needs/beliefs of the community.
Qualifications
- Act as a main point of contact between members, families, leadership, and child and family service agencies.
