Job Description
Northern Health is urgently seeking locum physicians to work in the Chetwynd Hospital & Health Centre Emergency Department in Chetwynd, British Columbia.
Locums have the option of covering clinic, and/or ER. ER shifts are 24 hours ). You can expect to see an average of 20 patients in a 24‑hour shift.
Must have Current, formal ER practice.
*Current, formal ER practice means you have worked a minimum of 320 hours in the last 2 years between ER and Primary Care, with at least 160 hours per year (averaged over the two years) in formal ER coverage.
The Chetwynd Hospital has 7 long‑term beds and 5 acute care beds. Services include 24/7 Emergency, Medical Inpatient, Palliative Care, and Respiratory Therapy.
