Medcan Health Management is seeking a Family Physician to join our expanding medical staff of over 100 physicians. This part‑time position supports our Year Round Care (Urgent/Walk‑In Care Clinic) in York Mills (4120 Yonge Street). The position includes Saturday and weekday shifts, with the option for a rostered practice including additional shifts per week.
What You’ll Do
- Provide screening and primary care services for Medcan patients.
- Based on history and physical examination, provide clinical guidance and recommendations.
- Evaluate the patient’s health, make diagnoses, prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and follow‑up care with internal or external specialists.
- Educate, advise, and empower patients on primary and secondary preventive health care.
- Provide counseling and support to patients on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
