Job Description
Responsibilities
- On-site assembly and disassembly of industrial gas turbines (LM 2500, LM 6000) for the South American market
- Carrying out comprehensive maintenance work on the unit in accordance with OEM documentation
- Commissioning of the unit after repair according to the corrective maintenance measures
- Remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosis (borescope inspections) for the equipment to be maintained
- Assessment of equipment performance
- Technical customer support on-site
- Technical instruction and supervision of subcontractors
- Documentation of results and preparation of maintenance reports
- Preparation and follow-up of field service operations (organization of business trips and logistics for spare parts, tools…)
Qualifications
- Several years of experience as an engine mechanic for aero-derivative turbines
