Job Description
NVA Canada invites final-year veterinary technician students to participate in their VT Practicum Program, offering a unique chance to gain critical skills and experience. Work within a dynamic team to enhance patient care capabilities.
Participants will have the opportunity for two to eight weeks of practical training, working closely with experienced veterinarians. This experience includes patient care, anesthesia assistance, and laboratory procedures while honing communication skills essential for a successful RVT career. A stipend may be provided to eligible students to ease travel concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support in patient care activities
• Assist in executing laboratory and diagnostic procedures
• Help with anesthesia during surgical interventions
• Contribute to radiology tasks and clinical operations
