Job Description
MacEwan University is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor for a full-time continuing opportunity with the Office of the University Registrar.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing knowledgeable and accurate advice to students regarding tuition, fees, scholarships, awards, bursaries, and student loans.
- Facilitating information sessions to support new and continuing students in the completion of student loan applications, SAB applications, and financial literacy.
- Identifying students in financial crisis and exploring options for Emergency Loan or Bursaries, as well as referring students to other support services throughout the University, as applicable.
- Confirming Federal/Provincial student loans, grants, scholarships, and bursaries to full-time and part-time students.
- Processing confirmations of enrolment in accordance with all federal and provincial aid regulations.
