Job Description
The Controller serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity, sustainability, and performance of Food Island Partnership. As a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, the role provides financial leadership, oversight and insight to support decision-making, funding accountability, and the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives. This role plays a critical function in aligning financial management with organizational strategy, ensuring all programs and activities are executed with strong fiscal discipline, measurable outcomes, and compliance with funder requirements.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including cash flow for all projects.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, plus year-end reporting.
- Maintenance and monitoring of all project budgets and forecasts, including:
