Job Description
Teach Forensic Toxicology at the University of Toronto Mississauga as a Sessional Lecturer. This in-person course focuses on drugs, alcohol, and poisons in a medicolegal context.
The successful candidate will contribute to the UofT Mississauga’s Anthropology department for the Fall 2026 semester. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, supervising teaching assistants, and grading assignments on Wednesdays. Ideal candidates possess a Ph.D. or significant forensic lab experience and strong teaching capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging course material
• Supervise teaching assistants and provide marking guidelines
• Evaluate and grade student assignments and exams
• Maintain regular office hours for student support
• Adapt instruction methods based on potential changes
Requirements:
• Ph.D. or ABD in Chemistry or Toxicology
• 5+ years in a forensic toxicology lab
