Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the company in meeting its production goals by supervising all activities of employees on their assigned shift; ensures a safe and efficient work environment by communicating and managing Company established quality, production, safety and human resource policies.
MAJOR TASKS
+ Supervises an assigned production and/or finish-end manufacturing process while managing staff (salaried and hourly), equipment, and materials to achieve the highest safety, quality and production levels.
+ Resolves conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
+ Maintains quality control standards to maximize company profitability and achieve customer satisfaction.
+ Regularly inspects the mill for maintenance and safety problems and then reports to the appropriate staff members.
+ Conducts individual meetings and leads crew meetings to communicate pertinent information to employees.
