Job Overview
We are seeking a General Manager – Theatres and Critical Care for the South Sector. The role is responsible for delivery of TACC Acute Medicine provision, patient flow model, and strategic & operational delivery of the Service. You will report to the Interim Director and work with clinical and non‑clinical teams across Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Sectors Theatres and Critical Care (TACC) Acute Medicine provision and patient flow model.
- Accountable for strategic and operational delivery and development of the Service.
- Ensure clear focus on delivery of high‑quality, safe, efficient patient‑centred services.
- Collaborate with other Sector General Managers to maximise resources and deliver patient care efficiently.
- Lead development of a patient‑focused culture, encouraging initiative, responsibility and open communication.
