Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
* Permanent Medicine Registrar position starting 3 August 2026. * 6-month initial Allocation to General Medicine training position at Wairarapa Hospital in Masterton. Subsequent rotations to other regional Hospitals.
This is an 6-month RACP-accredited training position however we are open to consider a doctor who could work in this position for an entire year (2x 6-month postings). You
will be the General Medical Registrar with a small team of consultant
physicians and prevocational doctors and have a great opportunity to lead and
learn. As the lone registrar you will have direct contact with the SMO
physician team and other teams providing a wide scope of hands on learning.
It
is expected you will be able to cover Surgery, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and
O&G when rostered on for long days and weekends - for Medical Council supervision reasons i...
