Geography Teaching Assistant
Geography graduates with a 1st or 2:1 degree required. Full‑time term‑time position (Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:45pm) at an outstanding graded secondary school and sixth form in Ilford, East London.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning in Geography for students aged 11 to 18.
- Assist all ability groups, from high achievers to students with barriers to progress.
- Scaffold the work of the teaching team and help monitor student progress.
- Provide additional support in the classroom and during extra sessions as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Geography (First Class or 2:1) from a recognised university.
- Strong academic record in Geography, with GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above.
