Job Description
Become a Project Geologist with Equinox Gold in Geraldton, Ontario, and lead exploration initiatives. Oversee drilling operations while ensuring compliance and data accuracy across projects.
In this role, you will report to the Exploration Superintendent and Senior Geologist. You will be responsible for coordinating drilling and field activities, supervising team members, and ensuring that all exploration work is conducted safely and efficiently. Your knowledge of geological practices will be essential for logging drill core and compiling geological data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise field drilling activities
• Accurately log core geological information
• Ensure data integrity through QA/QC methods
• Implement drill plans and adjust as necessary
• Support in preparing reports on findings
