Summary of Duties
Reports to and carries out work under the direction of the Director of Planning. Undertakes and assists staff in a variety of planning, environmental, and natural heritage‑related assignments and studies, including research, survey, data‑gathering, data maintenance, and data analysis. Provides graphic design assistance in the preparation of reports and studies.
Work Performed
- Completes various data maintenance, editing and data updates as needed.
- Undertakes research, survey, data gathering, data monitoring, data analysis, and mapping analysis related to Planning and Development projects and processes.
- Provides information to other planning staff, municipal departments, agencies, elected officials, community organizations and the general public.
- Assists in the preparation of reports; and provides information to senior staff, Managers pertaining to Planning assignments.
