Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Specialist to join our client's automotive manufacturing team near Kitchener, ON region .
Pay
Up to 90K
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with provincial/state health & safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and supervisors
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance reports
- Support WSIB/WCB claims management and return-to-work programs
- Lead or participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices on the production floor
