Position Summary
Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Willing to relocate to various locations, including hospitals, medical facilities, or clinics.
Responsibilities
- Administer evaluative tests.
- Use equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment.
- Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions and perform follow‑up examinations and readjustments.
- Follow through on treatment programs with patients.
- Make decisions on tests and procedures.
- Clean and maintain equipment.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re‑use according to standardized safety practices.
- Maintain clinical and progress reports.
- Maintain inventory of equipment.
