Responsibilities
- Oversee and address the healthcare needs of admitted patients, from acute ailments to chronic conditions.
- Serve as the primary physician during patients' hospital stays and orchestrate complex treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including nurses, specialists, surgeons, and allied health professionals.
- Work with ICU and specialist colleagues to deliver advanced medical care and quality toward hospital-wide care.
- Manage an average of 14–18 inpatients per rotation.
Qualifications
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
