Description

The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert is seeking an hourly instructor to teach the course Residential Real Estate Appraisal (221-008-LA). The course objective is to equip students with the skills to estimate the market value of a property using three distinct approaches: parity, mixed, replacement cost and economic value appraisal methods. Students will also learn real property concepts, legal considerations, economic principles, market area analysis, highest and best use, and ethical considerations.

The instructor will deliver the course in a hybrid format – approximately 20 % of the sessions are in‑person and 80 % are online. The instructor must be able to teach both in‑person and online, and will determine specific in‑person dates in collaboration with the department.
