Housekeeping Attendant
Reports to: Manager, Housekeeping
Role Status: Part Time / Seasonal / Hourly
Job Summary
The primary role of a Housekeeper is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and its surroundings. This includes basic and periodic cleaning tasks, the safe and effective use of various cleaning solvents and chemicals, and adherence to a set cleaning schedule.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, laundry services, and emergency housekeeping when accidents occur.
- Follow cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) as outlined for housekeeping department.
- Check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate, monitor cleaning supplies and order more as needed.
