Job Description
Responsibilities
- Under direction of the Manager, HR, implement company and business unit HR strategies, programs and processes
- Support leaders in interpreting policies and resolving employee relations matters
- Handle personnel complaints/concerns and participate in their resolution
- Work with hiring managers to develop and execute staffing plans, initiate recruitment, prepare job descriptions and assess job level/salary ranges
- Administer short/long term disability and Workers comp claims
- Monitor training/development needs, participate in the development of plans/programs, support implementation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems/practices
- Support administration of collective bargaining agreement
- Support all aspects relating to corporate benefits package
