This job is responsible for being knowledgeable and proficient in the pre-implant, post-implant, and/or inpatient mechanical circulatory support clinical practice. Acts as a patient advocate and patient educator while promoting optimum patient independence, self-care, and rehabilitation. This role is an integral member of the mechanical circulatory support/transplant team, assisting the transplant physicians by independently monitoring certain patients, managing outpatient clinics and periodically reviewing all patients with the physicians. Provides care and service to individuals of all age groups. Required – Registered Nurse Diploma
Preferred – Bachelors’ degree in Nursing
