PERFORMANCE EVALUATION: Annually by the Facilities Manager
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month unaffiliated position. Other terms are set by the Board of Education in accordance with the New London Public Schools Unaffiliated Staff Manual.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The HVAC Technician will perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of District heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities; perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment. This work will be performed under the direction and supervision of a licensed journeyman.
