Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety, and as a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team, the incumbent is responsible for:
- Participating in biological hazard surveillance programs including assessing for and providing immunizations, providing and interpreting tuberculin skin tests, and conducting annual surveillance for the TB program and flu vaccine program (70%).
- Participating in the Employee Documentation program (20%).
- Conducting information sessions with respect to influenza vaccines as required (5%).
Experience
- Minimum of one-year nursing experience required.
Education
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing required.
Certification / Licensure / Registration
- Successful completion of an Occupational Health Nursing certificate program preferred. ...
