Job Description
Process Optimization & Efficiency
- Analyze production processes for plastics (e.g., injection molding) and metals (e.g., machining, fabrication, stamping) to identify inefficiencies
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase throughput and reduce cycle time
- Design and optimize plant layouts, workflows, and material flow
Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and support Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and waste reduction
- Establish standard work instructions and time studies
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, cost, and quality
Cost Analysis & Estimating
- Conduct labor and cost analysis for new and existing programs
- Review and update production standards and BOM’s
