Mill Operator – Gold Processing Plant – Geraldton, ON
A mining operation in Geraldton, Ontario is hiring a Mill Operator to help manage and control the processing of gold ore through various plant circuits including crushing, grinding, leaching, and tailings. The role requires strong technical knowledge, teamwork, and a deep commitment to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor crushing, grinding, leaching, CIP, detoxification, and tailings systems
- Respond to equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues
- Perform safety procedures, LOTO, and maintain accurate shift logs
- Communicate with Maintenance and Mining teams
- Fill in as relief supervisor when needed
