Overview

The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is a supra-municipal organization with jurisdiction over the territory of Québec located north of the 55th parallel. The Legal, Socio-Judicial and Municipal Management Department of the KRG is currently seeking to recruit a candidate to work in Kuujjuaq in the capacity of: INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR (Permanent, full-time position).

Duties

• Administer and maintain the KRG and Northern Villages’ (NVs) insurance portfolio, including property and casualty, pollution, cargo, hull and machinery and protection and indemnity
• Review and process insurance claims, ensuring timely documentation
• Liaise with insurance consultants, insurance brokers, insurance companies, claim adjusters, and other relevant key stakeholders on KRG and NVs insurance portfolio and claims
