Overview
As the Interim Head Coach for Women’s Volleyball, you will lead the athletic program on a part‑time contract basis. The role focuses on coaching student‑athletes, fostering academic and personal growth, and building a competitive team aligned with Douglas College values.
Responsibilities
- Lead sport‑specific program delivery and ensure adherence to PACWEST, NWAC, and CCAA policies and procedures.
- Maintain safe facilities, equipment, and current injury prevention practices, and certify coaching staff.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate training methodologies for athletic, mental, and skill development.
- Coordinate scheduling, facility use, travel, budgeting, apparel, and other administrative requirements in collaboration with the Director of Athletics & Recreation and other staff.
