Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need Start Date: As soon as credentialed Openings: 1 Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search Practice Setting: Internal Medicine coverage for inpatient Psychiatric Unit Average 10 PPD Consult service ED coverage and inpatient rounding 20-bed unit Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p Patient Population: Adult EMR: Cerner Credentialing: Temporary priviledges available Requirements: Active Massachusetts licensure Board certification AHA BLS certification Minimum 1-year Internal Medicine experience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
