Internship Details
Internship Dates: August 31st to December 18th, 2026.
Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Internship from Monday to Friday, flexible hours, exclusively on-site.
Responsibilities
The Engine Dynamics department is responsible for the qualification of turbomachinery (rotating and static) hardware subject to vibratory and transient loading. The successful applicant will aid technical experts in expanding the current standard work to increase fidelity and efficiency of full engine dynamic modeling for normal vibration prediction and engine architecture optimization due to unbalance rotor assemblies.
- Maintain and develop automated object generation within ANSYS Workbench to automate full engine model development.
- Postprocess rig data from the vibe lab and develop analytical models for predicting damping at bolted joint and interference interfaces.
