Description
The Special Proc/Cath Lab Tech will serve as a primary member of the Radiology Patient Care Team. He/she will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the program. The Special Proc/Cath Lab Tech is responsible for all diagnostic radiology equipment operation and calibration processes. The technologist must perform all diagnostic procedures. The technologist must be able to operate all technical X-ray equipment in order to produce diagnostic radiographs for the Radiologists' interpretation. The Special Proc/Cath Lab Tech must be able to set up a sterile field and perform all diagnostic and interventional special procedures.
