Job Description
IT Officer (holding the functional title of Analyst Programmer) in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health (Ref.: 536169) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in information technology, computer science, engineering or a related discipline, with at least 3 years' work experience in application development. They should have (i) knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, JSON, XML, SQL and MySQL; (ii) experience in version control, web-based development and CMS systems (e.g. Joomla); (iii) at least 2 years’ hands-on work experience in supporting Linux hosting platform, including apache and tomcat; (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (v) good communication, analytical and p...
