Job Description
Enhance educational technology at the South Shore Regional Centre for Education as an IT Support Specialist. This role emphasizes technical problem-solving and network management for diverse school environments.
This position is part-time (40%) focused on IT Support and primarily involves technical assistance across various operating systems and network infrastructures. You will use your skills in LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi technologies, alongside communications with management, to deliver exceptional technical support to educators and students alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain network performance across multiple systems
• Install and configure network equipment as needed
• Assist in disaster recovery and backup planning
• Respond to technical requests via email, phone, or web
• Provide training on installed systems to school staff
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in technology or related experience
• 1-2 years of technical support experience
