This role is perfect for a proactive, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Junior Buyer, you won’t just be sitting behind a desk; you’ll be the bridge between the office and the plant floor, ensuring our production team has exactly what they need, when they need it.
Status: Temporary to Permanent
Compensation: $24/hour
Location: In-office (Daily)
Schedule: Mon – Thu: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Fri: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (or until tasks are complete)
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Issue purchase orders to replenish production materials and manage initial orders for new projects.
- Maintain the system database for materials, inventory, and PO tracking.
- Analyze supplier performance indicators and assist in sourcing new materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage follow-ups regarding non-conforming materials identified during quality inspections.
