About The Opportunity

The Court Services Division of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice is dedicated to excellent service and the provision of fair and accessible administration of justice. The Division provides administrative support to courts including the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Provincial Court, Small Claims Court, Probate Court and Bankruptcy Court.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to requests related to all court matters by telephone, fax and email.
• Receive, balance and record all monies paid to the court; prepare daily cash reports and bank deposits in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Process correspondence and other documentation received electronically, by mail, fax or otherwise.
