We are recruiting an experienced KBE Engineer – BIW to support our automotive client. NOTE: Hybrid onsite up to 3 times per week with the likelihood of being onsite 100% in Windsor, Ontario. Must be willing and able to travel to the USA without restrictions, effective on the start date. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Responsibilities
Own and manage the design, development and release of BIW upper body components/subassemblies. Focus on machine/metal design engineering and body structures. Maintain extensive knowledge of Catia/NX modeling and a background in developing, packaging and synthesizing complex vehicle systems. Utilize and update parameters and standards specific to upper body shells and closures – doors, hoods, fenders, liftgates and overall upper body system. Work with external suppliers, internal stamping plants and vehicle plant body shop to ensure manufacturability, cost and material performance. Develop and manage CBOM and quadris for ...
