Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services is seeking 5 qualified individuals for the role of Knowledge Keeper – Cultural Services.
This position will report to the Team Lead and Cultural Services Supervisor and is responsible for providing cultural services, completing traditional teachings and ceremonies for children, youth, and families involved with Child and Family Services, and supporting staff and members from the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Cultural Services Team ensure culturally appropriate services for the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory, Child and Family Services program.
- Integrate cultural knowledge and ceremonies into Wellness Plans for children, youth, and families involved in the program, ensuring a holistic approach to their well‑being.
