What you will be doing: Perform petrographic analysis using reflected and transmitted light microscopes Conduct point counting and capture photomicrographs Operate SEM for imaging and EDS-based mineral/chemical analysis Run and interpret QEMSCAN analyses (mineral mapping, liberation, associations) Maintain and update QEMSCAN mineral libraries Review and ensure quality of thin section and polished sample preparation Coordinate with technicians for sample readiness Interpret and integrate data from microscopy, SEM, and QEMSCAN Pre...
