Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Lead Mechanical Engineer specializing in rotating equipment to lead all rotating equipment engineering activities on a major gas processing facility project. The candidate will be responsible for the technical oversight of pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating machinery throughout the project lifecycle.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the selection, specification, and engineering of rotating equipment including centrifugal/reciprocating compressors, pumps, turbines, and fans
- Develop and review equipment datasheets, technical specifications, and purchase requisitions
- Conduct technical bid evaluations and review vendor proposals for rotating equipment
- Review vendor drawings, performance test reports, and mechanical run test results
- Coordinate with process and instrumentation disciplines on equipment control and performance requirements
