MAJOR FUNCTION
: The Learning Consultant is grant-funded position housed within the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Office of the Secretary and Office of Staff Development & Training. The Learning Consultant is responsible for preparing for and providing certification and in-service training for juvenile justice professionals.MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three years of professional or technical experience in areas such as training, teaching, staff development, criminal justice, forensic laboratory or a combination of education and experience. Professional or technical experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
