Requisition ID: . The incumbent is responsible for the provision and coordination of legal services and advice to the Bank and its subsidiaries on a range of employment law matters.
Ensures all activities are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures, and helps implement the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day‑to‑day decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a customer‑focused culture and deepen client relationships.
- Provide legal analysis, documentation, negotiation, preparation, review, research and advice to line management for new services or products.
- Review legal work performed by outside counsel and prepare general correspondence.
- Research proposed legislation, evaluate its impact on the Bank, write reports and prepare correspondence on general interpretation and terminology.
