Shape corporate finance legislation with the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) as a Legal Counsel. You will collaborate with seasoned professionals to develop legal guidelines and provide essential advice on securities legislation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local and national regulations
- Review securities applications for exemptive relief
- Provide legal analysis of proxy and disclosure documents
- Conduct significant legal and policy research
- Collaborate with BCSC staff on legal matters
- Utilize your legal expertise to support BC's investment community as part of the BCSC team
Qualifications
- Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.)
- Eligible for or a member of the BC Law Society
